Veronica Mars returns to finish the story that she left half finished, after the cancellation of the series of the same name after only three seasons on the air over 7 years. And she does so in style, on the big screen, after the leading actress of Veronica Mars, Kristen Bell and the creator Rob Thomas have personally got involved in the project and financed the Veronica Mars film through the Internet, getting the money to shoot Veronica Mars in record time.

And their fans were certainly eager to see Veronica Mars, even after so long after the series was canceled: the Kickstarter Campaign was created to seek funding to film Veronica Mars and grossed $2 million in ten hours and almost 6 million after one month. This allowed the protagonist and director to also return resume their roles in Veronica Mars, along with the rest of the original cast (Jason Dohring, Chris Lowell, Ryan Hansen, Krysten Ritter, Tina Majorino etc), to tell us how Veronica Mars, on the eve of her graduation from law school, has left Neptune and her days as an amateur detective behind.

Or so she thought, because while she does do interviews in major law firms, Veronica Mars receives a call from her ex boyfriend Logan, who was charged with murder. Veronica returns to Logan to help Logan find a lawyer, but because of the way the case is brought against Logan, things are not going well and Veronica soon becomes trapped back into a life she thought she'd left behind.
